| Hmm, kinda slim pickings in between LA and SF when you're on I-5, huh? Are you bound to I-5? I know it's the most efficient way, but I would stay on the coast, if possible, on the drive up (and back), for obvious reasons. But usually the "scenic route" eats up lots more time. I assume you're from CA, so you know a lot of the area. You can jump off I-5 and go to SF, but for the weekend that could prove to be more trouble than it's worth since driving in SF can be a nightmare. Are you taking 580 and 680 to Napa? If so there's there's San Ramon, which I've always liked but maybe because I have friends there. Really, just do Highway 1 instead! You know you want to! Add another day to account for it, it'll be worth it. |
