Suggest Budget hotel in San Diego for long stay

Hi all. I am planning to come to San Diego for some business purpose. I would be staying in San Diego for around 30 to 40 days. I am looking for an affordable accommodation from where San Diego International airport is nearby. And most importantly the room must have Internet connection so that I can work in my room and stay in touch with my family through voice mail.

My budget is not that big. So please kindly suggest some good, budget hotel. Thanks in advance.

Most everything in downtown SD are going to be pretty pricey, but the upside is that there is a lot within walking distance. The Dolphin Motel is great for long stays because the rooms are nice but it won't hurt your wallet. You can also get a cab ride from the Dolphin to the airport for about $10.

You may want to look for corporate housing by owner and totally cut your costs in half. Try craigslist
