Default Suggest an affordable place to stay in San Diego

I plan to take my two kids on a week long holiday in San Diego. I’m sure the kids are going to love it’s the long sandy beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, amusement parks and near-perfect weather. Can anyone suggest some good and affordable place to stay in San Diego?

Hi Caren,

Downtown San Diego offers lower rates Hotels if you would like to keep within budget.

The Balboa Park Inn in Park Blvd. is a colorful and very affordable Spanish-style colonial stay.
All rooms feature a private entrance, and additional amenities include private bathrooms, a refrigerator and microwave, cable TV, free local calls, and daily maid service.

The best thing is that it is within a short walking distance to the San Diego Zoo.

The Pacific Terrace Hotel is a perfect place for families although somewhat pricey. Located at 610 Diamond St., at Mission Bay, the Pacific Terrace Hotel is well-situated for accessing attractions both north and south of it.

Each guest room and suite here is large, and loaded with extras, from marble-laden bathrooms, to charming balconies. Large, plasma televisions, dataports and just about everything else comes with each well-decorated unit.

Hope this helps

Hi Caren

San Diego is a super place to be when you are taking kids along. The world class zoo, animal parks, amusement parks etc are a sheer delight. I can suggest you a budget accommodation - California Suites Hotel located right in the heart of San Diego. This one’s a great option in terms of services, accommodation and rates. And the best part is you can commute easily to all the popular places from here. Check out their web site for more details: californiasuiteshotel.com . And have a wonderful holiday in San Diego.

Cheers!

I think you should choose hotels situated nearby the SeaWorld.
