California

The state of California is largest state in the US. Home to Disneyland, Napa Valley wineries, the Old Faithful Geyser, and more. It has small towns like Carmel providing its unique charm and larger cities like Los Angeles. Visit Yosemite National Park, surf in the Pacific Ocean or go to one of the many ski resorts.

Sounds like a plan to me...it just so happens my parents recently stayed at a B&B last year for their anniversary and had a great time. I did a little digging and found the website.

Not sure what your budget is. This one looks pretty pricey. It's in Eureka...parents enjoyed the beaches and the redwoods (and the wine), don't think they did any whale-watching.

Humpback Whales and Blue Whales migrate to central California waters each year to feed during summer and fall and Monterey Bay is a prime feeding location for these whales. I'd recommend a stay in the town of Carmel there's some great B&B's and very romantic Here's a few virtual tours of Carmel Lodging which may help.

i think California is Z best state- it has so much to offer, it has great cities (LA, SF, SD...) great nature like Yosemite, Tahoe, sequia, kings, even death valley! and of course the endless miles of beaces, great wineries and so on
going to California is one of the best vacation ideas - at least for me and my family
there are some good guides (alot of activitiy ideas) about different areas in California
