Default Going to Napa

Any suggestions about what to do during a weekend stay in Napa Valley? I've never been even though it's only about a 45 minute drive away. What are the best places to taste wine, best restaurants, etc?

hi there,

Nearly all of the wineries in Napa Valley are open to the public year-round, so you will have many choices. Most Napa Valley wine tastings are around five to ten dollars apiece, making it easy to visit multiple wineries in one day.

If you are visiting Napa on a budget, be sure to look for discounts on wine tastings.

The most famous of the Napa restaurants is The French Laundry and it is arguably the best Napa Valley restaurant. The French Laundry specializes in contemporary American cuisine with French influences, and offers two nine-course fixed price menus that serve a series of small courses.

If you're looking for a restaurant in Napa Valley that serves a great steak dinner, the excellent Press, in St Helena is a great choice.
