attractions in downtown La Jolla

hey there,

we'll be in San Diego on March 15th, and I am planning our San Diego itinerary already, which will include exploring some of the neighborhoods... I wanted to get some suggestions on attractions in downtown La Jolla. Any suggestions?

hi there,

La Jolla downtown village is a great place for shopping and you can find jewelry shops, galleries, and chic boutiques.

If you interested in architecture, the historic La Valencia is one of the town's boutique luxury hotels, and it is a superb example of Mediterranean art deco construction, while the four-star Grande Colonial is the oldest hotel in town, opened in 1913.

Also, you can take guided walks and tours sponsored by the Historical Society, and don't forget to check out the Museum of Contemporary Art.
