|  nightlife in LA A group of us are traveling to LA in a couple of weeks for a weekend birthday celebration. I am in charge of planning the whole thing and I need some input regarding dance clubs and comedy clubs...any ideas? |

|  Re: nightlife in LA Hi there, The hotspot for nightlife in LA can be found in Hollywood and West Hollywood, where you can find the Improv, Laugh Factory, and Comedy Club are two of the most well known comedy clubs in LA. Another hotspot for nightlife in LA can be found in Santa Monica and Venice Beach where you can find plenty of nightclubs and comedy clubs. For instance, the Zanzibar in Santa Monica is an excellent venue for dancing. Also, the Westside Comedy Club is another excellent choice and offers an amateur night as well as improv classes.
