Los Angeles beaches

A bunch of my friends are planning a trip to Los Angeles this summer and I was looking for some ideas on best Los Angeles beaches? any ideas?

hi there,

Zuma Beach in Malibu is one of the best beaches in LA, and it's also the largest. As you drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Zuma Beach, you get lovely scenic views.

I would say that of all the beaches in Los Angeles, Zuma Beach has the most complete facilities, and they include restrooms, playgrounds, snack bars, volleyball courts, and snack bars.

Another popular choice is Manhattan Beach, which has a great atmosphere, and you can enjoy a bit of surfing here, although it gets very crowd during the summer.

Are you looking for something private? Or more family friendly? There are tons of beaches in the area and it is all about personal preference. I would say Zuma is the best.

Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica for touristy stuff (like shops, pier, etc.)

For relaxing, I say Zuma or Ventura beach.
