| When we were in Siem Reap, we asked our hotel people to arrange a guide and driver for us for 2 days to visit the places in and around Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We paid only $25/day and we were happy and enjoyed the places. To visit the Angkor Watitself, 1/2 a day is sufficient. Ofcourse it's big, 120 sq. miles but you can complete with in a day or half. To avoid the crowd and get a beautiful view just go before the sun rise. This temple of the Angkorian region has dominating towers, intricate carvings in the walls, courtyards, passageways and many things to explore, but everything is wonderful. It's well worth a visit and you don't need a guide to visit Angkor Wat, just visit by yourself. Just rent car and visit some more sites in addition to Angkor Wat. Have a nice trip to largest religious monument of Cambodia and enjoy your day! |

| You can do within a day. But that's too quick and you will miss a lot of the beautiful places. You can choose to go on your own or rent a guide, depends how you want. The best way to get there? You can cycle, rent a tuk tuk or a car. The road condition from Siem Reap to Ankor Wat and temples around is pretty good. |

| 67kas, Tuk tuk is a type of 3-wheel vehicle, sort of a simple machine cart. In the other word, hook a cart to a motorbike and you have a tuk tuk. It costs around 10 - 12 US/day for renting a tuk tuk in Cambodia to visit the temples (include a driver, of course) |

| Junior Member | As my experience, you should visit Angkor Wat after 17:00pm. This is the time that the staff there go home. You do not need to pay 20 USD for the entrance fee. From your hotel, you can get a type of motorbike called "Tuk Tuk" to get there. Happy travels |
