|  cheap flights to Vancouver hi folks, im planning on taking my wife to Vancouver this summer, and im on the process of looking for cheap flights to Vancouver..has anyone got any tips? also, how far is the airport from downtown Vancouver? |

| Re: cheap flights to Vancouver hi there, Vancouver International Airport is not far from Downtown Vancouver, around 7 miles or so. If you're after finding cheap flights to Vancouver, it mainly comes down to where you are departing from. For instance, if you are leaving from the Midwest you may end up paying considerably more than if your departure point is from the west coast. Having said this, a few tips I can give include: - Booking tickets well in advance - Fly on a Wednesday rather than weekend - Buy a vacation package that bundles flights, car rental and hotel accommodation into one.
