| Moderator Jr Member | The Coastal Passage route is now open to Rocky Mountaineer trains. This route is the first time the company is departing from the U.S. (Seattle to be exact). After the initial trip to Vancouver, the route heads over to Banff or Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. The package includes dining, luxury train accommodations, and some overnight stays. Plus you can't beat the views!

| Seattle and Vancouver will definitely benefit from the new Coastal Passage route which will connect them to the Canadian Rockies. I'd love to do this route next year onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to see the natural beauty and panoramic views of the Pacific Northwest. |

| Moderator Jr Member | Lots of people find their way to Seattle and Vancouver, so this was a very smart move for Rocky Mountaineer.

| We travelled on Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver in "Gold Leaf Service", and on our trip the service was definitely top drawer with each staff member doing everything possible to help insure we enjoyed our trip. Food was excellent and comparable to Mobile 4 star restaurants. The views from both our seats in the dome area and from the platform at the end of the car was better than we anticipated...I definitely suggest booking the Gold Leaf Service, it's worth the extra expense! |
