Visiting Toronto again

hello all of you! 10 years ago, myself and my wife went to Toronto to attend a friend's wedding before my 2 kids came along and visited the zoo & Safari, and really loved the trip. Now we are planning a vacation in Toronto this September with our two boys (9 & 11) and wondering if it is worth a visit to go to zoo & safari or shall we visit other places instead? please let me know to decide. thank you.

Your two boys are both at a good age to enjoy a trip to the zoo so i would say thats a great idea for a day out. Also yourself and your wife can enjoy a trip down memory lane and see what changes have taken place as i am sure there have been plenty of changes in Toronto in the past 10 years.

For more ideas of days out you should check out the Things to do in Toronto section of the website. This will give you information on Museums, Tours, Attractions etc. I think the kids would enjoy a trip to Ontario Place where there are amusement park rides, movies and shows. I hope this helps.

I would suggest you rent a car and go to Niagara Falls, St Jacobs ( menonites culture ) visiting the farmersmarket there, going up north to algonquin park, or going to Upper canada village between toronto and montreal. I did a roundtrip in Oktober 2006 by camper this way.

Dont stay in toronto go and see more of canada
