Default On a trip with my family to Ottawa…..!!

Hello everyone, these days I am a bit relieved from my office work and planning to make a trip to Ottawa with my family members.

I have not yet told them about the plans, but just re-planning the whole thing so that I don’t leave a thing unseen.

I would love to have some useful information on the facilities available there for a family stay. We are a 5 member family.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Ottawa accomodation consists of:

- Guest houses and B&Bs which are the most affordable option.

- Mid-priced and high class hotels for those with a bit more cash to spend.

- Camping such as Camp Le Breton located near the center of town and it is very affordable.

- Hostels such as the old Ottawa jail. The location of the jail is conveniently central and there are 150 beds in the restored building, some of them in jail cells.

- University accommodation such as in The University of Ottawa and Carleton University both offer rooms for decent prices

I would say, if you're looking at staying within a budget it is best to look for accommodation in and around the outskirts of Ottawa.

Hope this helps
