|  when is hurricane season in the Caribbean? hello, does anyone know when the hurricane season in the Caribbean is exactly? Any ideas? |

|  Re: when is hurricane season in the Caribbean? Hiya, It depends where in the Caribbean you are heading. The hurricane season in western Caribbean starts normally between September and October. Places such as Hispaniola, Cuba, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Central America, and the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico are considered to be in the western Caribbean. In the other hand, the hurricane season in eastern Caribbean islands is a bit earlier than the peak in the western Caribbean, lasting roughly from August through mid-September. Places the eastern Caribbean include Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia, and Barbados. |
