cheapest Caribbean islands

im looking to take my wife on an string-like budget - hope she doesn't find out;) ....what are the cheapest Caribbean islands to enjoy a vacation, thanks P

Some of the best Caribbean islands for a cheap vacation are the US Virgin Islands (St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John) and Puerto Rico, which are both part of the United States.

Being part of US territory means that you will save money before you ever leave home since a passport is not required for travel.

Also, there are numerous cruise vacation lines with cheap trips to the Caribbean which make port stops on these islands, so that's another way to go about enjoying a cheap vacation in the Caribbean.

St. Croix is inexpensive, you mighjt also consider Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic as they have some all inclusive resorts that are very affordable.
