| I can't seem to find a thread for Guyana under South America, so I figured that I would start one here in the Caribbean forums. Has anyone ever traveled there? We have been talking about going? What is Georgetown like? I know that BWIA now Caribbean Airlines flies there. Thanks! JAMES DALPHONSE, HUBBARDSVILLE, NEW YORK USA |

Some of the places you could visit in Georgetown are St. George's Cathedral- which has been known to be one of the worlds largest wooden buldings. Museum of Guyana- includes painting and scuplters Umana Yana- eretcted for the foriegn ministers , and in 1972 it was made a honrd atraction. If you were to go there a good place to stay would be the Cara Suites which is located in the center of Georgetown. |
