| The Caribbean is a truly stunning place with pure white sands and clear emerald seas that have to be seen to be believed. Thankfully there are several cruises available which make it easier to really take in the beauty of the Islands scattered amid the Caribbean Sea. Whether you are single, part of a couple, elderly, looking for adventure or on honeymoon there will be a cruise that suits you. When choosing your cruise it is easier to first decide on the islands you would like to visit. Some of the cruises are quick and can take in several islands over a short period of time. Other cruises can take longer depending on the type of vacation you are looking for. When booking a cruise you can go to any major travel website and you will see whole list of options. Hopefully if you have time to shop around you will find yourself a bargain. For a little help in choosing your destination I can give a description of the most popular islands in the Caribbean. Firstly St.Barts – This is the first choice for the champagne and caviar set who pour their cash and cachet into St Barts with ever-increasing enthusiasm. You can engage in the usual Caribbean rainbow of watersports. As the Caribbean's most European island, you will find in St Barts dozens of excellent restaurants, huge wine cellars, fashion shows galore, and top-of-the-line art galleries. The centre of St Barts' tourist industry is the town of St Jean, east of Gustavia. This site of the earliest settlement on the island is chockablock with Euro-styled bistros, brasseries and chic boutiques. Old St Barts can be found in the hills east of St Jean. Here you will find the luxurious villas replaced with the dry-stone walls and red roofs of old-time St Barts. Nearby is the island's highest peak, about 930 ft high and boasting a view that can reach as far as Sint Eustatius and St Kitts. For a more active lifestyle, check out facilities for boating and sailing, coastal and deep-sea fishing, horseback riding, scuba diving and tennis. Most visitors are more than content with St Barts as the perfect place to do nothing all day and then rest afterwards Barbados - Barbados is a coral island, pushed out of sea by volcanic activity in a far away time. On the West Coast of Barbados, coral shore beaches of fine white sand stretch along a blue-green sea. Coral reefs fringe the Barbados shoreline to provide excellent snorkeling and Scuba Diving. Along the East Coast a lively surf is blown briskly by the strong and constant trade winds and the waves pound against a rocky shore. The constant breeze of the trade winds give Barbados a mild and pleasant tropical climate. Barbados is a very beautiful island, with lots of art, activities, night life, music, history and some of the best restaurants to be found anywhere. But what makes Barbados even more special, and the reason why so many visitors keep returning to the island year after year, is the people. Barbadians, called Bajans, are warm and friendly, always ready to greet you with a sincere. Barbadians make you feel welcome and special, in this lovely Caribbean Island. You will feel its your home and will want to come back again and again. St. Lucia - Diving, snorkeling, sailing, yachting, wind surfing, hiking, running and trail riding are just a few of the adventure activities awaiting you in St. Lucia. After your daily workout relax in a spa or have a massage at any of the world-class full-service facilities available here. There are exciting activities taking place all year long in St. Lucia. From St. Lucia Jazz to the annual Carnival to International Cricket matches in the new stadium you will find thrilling things to do all year round. Again this island will cater to the needs of singles, couples or families a like. There are many more islands in the Caribbean seas like Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts, The Dominican Republic, the Bahamasand St.Martin to name a few. Choosing which islands appeal to you will certainly help you when planning your luxury Caribbean Cruise. |
