|  The Sand Castle in Sosua I read the post about the Sand Castle, a very nice hotel in Sosua that closed because of issues dealing with land occupation among other things. The government recently built free condos for the families that were settled illegally in the land near the beach facing Sand Castle. Now there`s a plan to build a modern Marina and two hotels. The Castle might open its doors again in a year or two. In the meantime you can stay at the other hotels in Sosua, the biggest and nicest being the Sosua Bay Hotel overlooking Sosua Beach. I prefer to rent a villa or condo for privacy issues, got a special deal from The guys at Golden Key Management in Sosua. And if you like sports, try Cabarete for a change. There`s hundreds of cheap hotels there. |
