Default Re: andros or long island

Hi there,

Andros is the largest island of The Bahamas and the fifth-largest island in the Caribbean.

Andros’ waters are popular amongst scuba divers and snorkelers alike, thanks to the third-longest barrier reef in the world. The island currently stands as the bone fishing capital of the world.

The Andros Barrier reef is a great place for snorkeling and you are able to experience the incredible marine life off the shores of The Bahamas such as bonefish, barracuda and the spotted eagle ray and coral clusters amongst others.

Long Island has a distinct landscape with an uninterrupted 80-mile stretch of contrasting coastlines. It is also a great place for snorkeling and scuba diving although not as popular as Andros Island.

If you are interested in diving packages in Bahamas please have a look at this link; http://www.destination360.com/caribb...s-spring-break

Also, if you would like some more ideas of what to do in Bahamas have a look at http://www.destination360.com/caribb...nerary-bahamas

Hope this helps
