I would suggest hiring a sailboat charters during your vacation in the Cayman Islands. If you're experienced sailers you won't need a crew. Otherwise, charter companies can supply a crew if you'd like to sit back and not have to worry about navigation and things the like.

I would recommend scuba diving, but since you are traveling as a family - perhaps everyone can go to StingRay city. It is infamous, and personally, a must-see while you are there.
