Shore excursions in Grand Cayman

hiya,

I was wondering anyone who is done a cruise of the Caribbean could advice on what type of shore excursions in Grand Cayman did you get to do? is the port far from the city? any ideas?

hi there,

Actually, the Cayman Islands cruise port is in Georgetown, so you won't have to go far to do enjoy some activities.

Most shore excursions in Grand Cayman often revolve around shopping at the duty-free outlets and the other shops that can be found in the capital of Georgetown.

Having said this, some Cayman Island cruises do offer shore excursion tours at extra cost. For instance, a shopping tour is something I would suggest avoiding as it is not necessary.

Apart from shopping, you can enjoy water activities at the nearby Seven Mile Beach and West Bay.
