Money and costs travel to Chile

hiya, has anyone being to Chile recently and can you advice on money and costs to travel to Chile and there too?

hi there,

Chile is not as cheap as other South American countries. If you want cheap prices then, avoid late-December to mid-March months as it is high season.

To give an idea of cost, allow US$25 per day for food and lodging although if you camp or stay in hostels, you can save even more.

If you want to enjoy your stay in Chile more comfortably then, allow US$60 per day or US$100 per day if you want to enjoy a bit of luxury.
