traveling to Shanghai for fun

hello,

I am traveling to Shanghai on November 21st. I am there just for a bit of fun and leaving November 26th by MTR to Hong Kong.

Where should I stay in Shanghai, and are there any good places to stay near to the MTR?

I am young and not too interested in the ancient culture, just some good fun.

What ideas do you have to do or go to?

Look for a hotel near the Bund area of Shanghai, as there are a ton of clubs and outdoor bars/lounges.

If you're looking for a fun time in Shanghai, I'd suggest Shelter on a weekend night. It's a pretty nice "underground" club.

Also, don't waste your time going to the World Expo which is now in Shanghai.

Regarding the MTR to Hong Kong. Why don't you just fly? It must be like 10 hours on a train to Hong Kong.

you could try "Delightel Pacific Suites"..a good place to stay in central Shanghai, near to Bund, Nanjing Road,Metro, East Pearl Towel...check it's website.....
