|  is Yu Gardens a popular tourist destination? Just fishing up my itinerary of Shanghai...Do you recommend checking out Yu Gardens and is it a popular attraction? is it easy to get to? |

| Re: is Yu Gardens a popular tourist destination? Yu Gardens is a great tourist spot! Besides the gardens, the area around Yu Garden has a number of attractions like cheap food stalls...so you can really spend 2-3 hours there. I would suggest, though, visiting Yu Gardens at non-peak times if possible. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed with crowds. Yu Gardens is located in the old town quarter and you can get there by light metro on line 8. You need to get off at Dashijie station since it's the nearest one to Yu Gardens, but it's ok it's just 10 minutes on foot! |
