|  May Holiday Dates 2008 Am trying to discover when the official "golden week" will be for May 2008. As May 1st 2008 is a Thursday will the previous Monday April 28 to Wednesday April 30 be public holidays or will it be the following week? |

|  Re: May Holiday Dates 2008 In 2008, the weekends are placed unfavorably, resulting in a Golden Week, that consists of little more than an isolated public holiday (April 29) and a long weekend (May 3-5) as shown below.
