|  what's your opinion of the Beijing Olympic opening ceremony? The Beijing Olympic opening ceremony was successfully held at the Bird's Nest at 20:00 o'clock Beijing time. I watched it live on TV and as a Chinese, I think it was a great success. So how about you? Have you watched the ceremony? If you have, would you like to share your opinion with us? :) |

I'm Chinese living in Sydney (for the past 20 years and i'm 29 so i identify with anglo more than asian). and personally having seen the opening ceremony i have never been more proud of my heritage! there was a nice mix of high and lo-fi mixed in cuz lets face it, if the chinese attempted a bunch of high tech fancy laser shows it'll proly blow the stadium up! and how much less tacky was it compared to our (Sydney's) inflatable kangaroos and Nicky Webster *cringe* |

I also watch live on TV, I was attracted by a red-dress girl, she was very nice and her voice is so clear and nice. I think that the Opening was so great ;) |
