|  best time to visit Denver hello people! I am wondering whether Denver is one of those places where weather has a lot to do with when you visit. If so, what are the main seasons there and when is best to visit to enjoy attractions? |

|  Re: best time to visit Denver hi there, Yes, weather often has a lot to do with when you visit Denver. There are two main seasons in Colorado, warm season and the cold season. Denver is located at the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills,so it doesn't get as much snow as mountain towns such as Avon and Aspen. If you are planning to enjoy winter activities such as skiing and snowboarding, you will find that November through April is the best time to go to Denver. For water activities and outdoors, May through October is the best time, especially, in summer when weather is just great for water rafting, hiking, fishing etc. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
