Help Please! Aspen or Vail?

hi all, which city has lots of skiing? Aspen or Vail? we're planning our Colorado vacation after Christmas, do we need to do reservations in Aspen or Vail or hotels in advance, or we can do after we get there? please help us to plan our trip, we are thinking of to have our Colorado vacation for 9 days and we are 3. how about the Colorado weather for skiing after Christams? is it good for pleasant Colorado vacation?

As far as I know, Aspen and Vail, both are very popular Colorado Ski Resorts and offer amazing activits include biking, fishing, hiking and snow sports. Aspen is a less crowded place and during summer it has great biking & hiking opportunities. It's loacted just 4hr drive from Denvar and you can take shuttle flights from Denver to Aspen. If you like to stay in one of the quiet ski resorts in Colorado, then I recommend Aspen is the best choice and just have a look at Aspen hotels page to get a comfortable accommodation in Aspen.

Vail is an easy 2 hrs drive from Denver and a less expensive Colorado ski resort, I have visited here once with a group of 10 and had a nice time. Stayed at Vail Cascade which is a little expensive hotel but enjoyed the breathtaking mountain and courtyard views. If you need info. on hotels in Vail, just have a look at Vail hotels page. Wheather it's a summer or winter, Vail Mountain is a perfect destination to enjoy all the activities, I really enjoyed the ski biking & tubing. Vail ski resort has something for everyone! And January is a fantastic winter month and during Christmas all the Colorado ski resorts are full, so make your bookings in advance. Have a nice time!

I would vote for Vail, better snow & not 'quite' as uppity. Breckenridge is my favorite resort though.
