| Re: camping in colorado Hi there, Some of the most popular locations are: * The San Juan National Forest located southwest of Colorado. This particular location has over thirty campsites and two popular ones are the McPhee and House Creek Campgrounds. * The Dry Lake is located near the hot springs also southwest of Colorado. Dry Lake camping sites are popular because of its peaceful surroundings and close proximity to Strawberry Park Hot Springs. * Colorado Springs is located in the heart of Colorado and offers great views of Pikes Peak. This particular campsite is popular amongst RV users. It offers amenities such as swimming pools, whirlpool, laundry facilities, etc. Hope this helps VacationBuddy
