|  Re: Camping in the San Juan National Forest hi there, San Juan National Forest has over thirty campgrounds which are in close proximity to a variety of recreational activities. Most campgrounds include toilets, drinking water, etc. However, San Juan National Forest does not provide showers, laundries, or hookups for recreational vehicles. The most popular Colorado camping sites in the San Juan National Forest are near the larger lakes, major highways, and communities. Since the majority of the camping sites are on a first-come, first save basis, so be sure to plan ahead. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
