when is the best time for a cruise along the Long Island Sound? any ideas someone?

Connecticut cruises along the Long Island Sound are typically offered during the late spring and early summer months, although there are exceptions to this rule.

I can suggest to go on a Connecticut river cruise, if you intend to explore wildlife and a chance to observe Bald Eagles in their natural habitats.

Connecticut River Expeditions in Essex offers river cruises on the Lower Connecticut River in February and early March and you can enjoy the scenery and solitude of the river while observing several different species of birds such as migrating Bald Eagles, Red Tailed Hawks, and Wood Ducks.
