Connecticut weekend getaway

hiya,

I needed some quick advice on Connecticut ski resorts..Im planning a Connecticut weekend getaway from and I wanted to ask if Connecticut ski resorts are easily reached from New York City? Also, what advise have you got on choosing a Connecticut ski resort?

hi there,

The Connecticut ski area is an easy drive from New York City and when choosing a Connecticut ski area, you need to check what difficult levels the resort offers and the overall atmosphere of the resort.

Having said this, Connecticut skiing is known for offering great conditions for beginners although experienced skiers will also have plenty of black diamond runs to choose from.

Also, you can consider snowshoeing as many Connecticut ski resorts offer this, and it is a great way to explore the beautiful scenery.

If you don’t own your own skis, you can rent your equipment at any ski resort or at one of the many Connecticut ski shops.
