|  tours from puntarenas I am planning a cruise through the Panama Canal in Oct 08. Does anyone have any information about tours that might be avalible dockside. From my experience it is a lot less expensive to deal with local tour operators |

|  Re: tours from puntarenas If your into forest tours about 20 miles south of Puerto Caldera there are two forest reserves known for their large and diverse populations of forest and aquatic birds. I'd recommend the Biological Reserve of Carara. |
