Costa Rica

The diverse landscapes of Costa Rica allow for great outdoor activities like white water rafting and relaxing at the Tabacon Hot Springs. Explore the Arenal Volcano and view the fiery red glow from the summit. Drive to the Monte Verde Cloud Forest to see the exotic environment and pass through the city of La Fortuna.

Smile Re: Costa Rica Vacations

I just spent a month in Tamarindo and I was really impressed with Playa Grande. It is the most consistent of all Tamarindo's spots, it is located after 20-minute drive north of town. It has long stunning beach and Warm water surfing is enjoyed throughout the year. But afternoons should be avoided since most of the surf schools are busy on their training. Playa Grande is a good option if you want to avoid the crowds.

As a popular surfing destination, Tamarindo offers plenty of nightlife activities. The most crowded bars in town are Mambo and Babylon. Other popular spots are the Monkey Bar at the Best Western Vista Villas and the bar at the Hotel Pasatiempo, they offer sporting events and live music. Also there are two casinos in town namely the Jazz Casino and the casino at the Barceló Playa Langosta resort. hope this help!

More information on Costa Rica Surfing can be found here, so just have a look!
