Default Re: Whale Watching

Whale watching is an exciting activity and a great way to watch amazing Whales and Dolphins in Costa Rica, especially the Drake Bay and Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula are the best spots for whale watching. Normally the whale watching tour takes from 2 to 3 hours and the best time to watch the whales in this area are from november to March and from July to September. Many of the Costa Rica tours includes whale watching trip at Marino Bahia Ballena national park. In this park, you can see several species of whales including Pilot Whale, the Humpback Whale Bryde’s Whale and Killer Whales. The killer whales can be seen in the rare occasion but Dolphins can be seen all year around. December to April and and July to October are the best time to visit this Bahia Ballena national park for whale watching. Watch out huge whales and playful dolphins and enjoy your Costa RIca tour. And if need to book your accommodation in advance, then visit Costa Rica hotels page to find out a place to stay during your Costa RIca tour.
