Question How safe is it to travel in Costa Rica?

We are planning to go to Costa Rica for our Travel Tour and have been looking into Cosat Rica. I was just wondering how safe the country is in terms of violence and other areas of concern.

Hi there,

Costa Rica is one of the safest countries in Central America and travelers can feel safe exploring almost any part of the country.

Just like any other country, if you apply common sense and follow some simple tips, there is nothing to worry about: don't flash money and valuable objects around and don't walk around in secluded areas of the city at night.

Hope this helps

I agree. I have traveled by car and by bus, a woman alone, with no problems and always finding someone to help if I needed it. Costa Ricans are friendly and polite.
