|  Anyone been to Croatia? What are your thoughts. I had my heart set on Greece for sentimental reasons, but I've done Greece many times over. Croatia is starting to entice me. Anyone been? experience? |

| Re: Anyone been to Croatia? The Dalmatian coast is amazing and my favorite place was the island of Hvar, the fields of lavender in early July were just incredible. You'd love the country, friendly and helpful people and the food. I would highly recommend it, though, the only drawback is that I did not find it to be a cheap country. |

| Re: Anyone been to Croatia? I would highly recommend you to visit Dubrovnik, amazing city! Best time to visit Dubrovnik is June and September. But if you do not mind the crowds, July and August are highly recommended too! |
