|  Re: Croatia events and festivals hi there, New Year’s Eve in Stradun in Dubrovnik is one of the best places to be in Croatia for the New Year’s celebrations. The Carnival in Rijeka in February or early March is one of the best places in Croatia to experience the Carnival celebrations. The Croatia Boat Festival and the International Flower Festival in Split in April and May are also popular events if you travel in the spring. Hope this helps Vacationbuddy
