Best Cruise Line I recently had the opportunity to sail aboard the Celebrity Century Cruiseship and it was a great experience! I've sailed with Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Norwegian Cruise Line and it was by far the best food, accommodations, staff, and experience. What is your favorite ship?

Re: Best Cruise Line I have gone on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Canada out of NJ. I -really- enjoyed it (though I have to say - going in July sounds like a better plan than going in May like we did - nothing like going on a cruise vacation and being unable to put away our winter coat).

Re: Best Cruise Line Cruises, in other words floating cities with all luxuries aboard, are for those who want to enjoy their travel in leisure and style. Be it an overnight cruise off the shore, or the seemingly endless travel across the high seas, these trips are intended for those travelers who soak in the experience of the journey.

| Re: Best Cruise Line D360--I wonder if your Celebrity Century itinerary was the Baltic? I just returned from that 12 night cruise last month and my 2nd time on the Century.
I have done well over 40 cruises on about 12 or so different lines. My favorites?
Regent and Crystal--both upscale without the formality and incredible personal service almost 1:1
Celebrity, Princess & Royal Caribbean have all been equally steady in both service & amenities.
Holland America, Commodore, Regal, and NCL--just so-so but I took them for their unique itineraries and not the ships themselves.
I am a firm believer in cruising--Where else can you get someone else to drive, cook and clean, bring your meals and drinks 24/7, entertain you, and allow you do nothing or everything (just about) you want.

Re: Best Cruise Line I took a Christmas Cruise in the South of France with Grand Circle Travel....the cruise itself was nice....but on the very first night I was groped in the breasts by the ship manager!!! After many phone calls and letters to Grand Circle Travel that took over 6 months, they did nothing about it! I would never travel with them again!

Re: Best Cruise Line My first cruise was on the "Sovreighn of the seas" . We had a good time but they were going to put the ship in dry dock to refit it at the end of our cruise and they had already started to do repairs during our trip which was very noisy.
