hi there,

At the moment, you can't get a ferry from Cyprus to Greece due to unrest in Israel, as Israel was the terminus for these ferry routes.

If you don't want to fly, you have other options:

1) take a cruise between Greece and Cyprus
2) taking a ferry from Kyrenia port in Northern Cyprus to mainland Turkey, then making your way to Greece by train.

Ferries between Greece and Cyprus have been taken out of service some 9 years ago. An ambitious project to restore a car-ferry service between Cyprus and Greece is in the pipeline, following an agreement signed between Greek Economy Competitiveness and Merchant Marine Minister, Louka Katseli and Cyprus Transport Minister, Erato-Kozakou Markoulis, during a meeting in Athens on June 8th. According to Ms. Katseli, all the necessary arrangements and procedures have been set forth in order to have sea connection between Limassol and the port of Lavrio in Attica, using roll-on ferries, capable of carrying cars, lorries and busses according to reports. No specific date was given.

(since this is my first post, I'm not allowed to post a link, but if you search for Limassol and Lavrio, you'll find a number of references)

Dont use the vehicle ferry to Kyrenia from Turkey unless you have to they can be terrible and if you are going on to southern Cyprus you could be in trouble because Kyrenia is an illeagle port internationally

Travel companies can help you get what you are looking for. If you are coming here with your family or children then you need to bother much about their safety or care. If you have a small baby then hotels here can extend babysitter services. You can go for swimming or can go for sunning yourself leaving your children under the care of the hotel management. There are many activities and events that can keep your children amused when you are out. You don't have to worry about anything.

You can hire a car at cheap rates. And it is better hiring a car than waiting for the buses or other local taxis to take you to the places you wish to see. You just need to ring them up. They will pick you from your hotel north Cyprus and give you the mobility freedom to see the amazing sites of North Cyprus.
