Accommodation in Bratislava

I was few days ago in hostel Red Star in Bratislava, was pretty ok, cheap, staff was helpful. This is a student's house during the year, the surrounding is green, they've got tennis and basketball courts. I was satisfied. I recommend it

I stayed at the Hotel Nivy, it was a little bit removed from the center of town but was still a short distance via tram. There was a really great swimming and water-spa/relaxation complex attached to the hotel which made up for it's distance from the downtown.

It's hard to beat a good price, but sometimes it's great to have some amenities. I'm often willing trade close access for a good price and some perks. How about you?
