|  Delaware events and festivals we'll be making a trip to Delaware next year and we want to be able to attend a some of Delaware events and festivals..can you please recommend some of the best Delaware events and festivals? |

| Re: Delaware events and festivals hi there, Two of the most interesting Delaware historical events are: - A Day in Old New Castle Festival This festival of sorts also serves as a featured Delaware tour, because visitors are able to make stops at the city's private gardens and historic homes that are otherwise closed to the public for the rest of the year. This festival is a one-day affair that takes place every year in May, so you'll certainly need to plan for this one. - The annual Old Dover Days festival This one is another one of the recommended Delaware historical events, and it also takes place in May. Old Dover Days is held in the heart of the city's historic district, set on the famed Legislative Mall and The Green. Various walking tours can be enjoyed during this three-day bash, and there's plenty of food and free entertainment. |
