Hi, my girlfriend and I planning for Copenhagen trip in early November. This is our first time travel to Denmark and we are going to spend few weeks in Copenhagen. Does anyone know about the best places to wander round and reasonably priced restaurants in Copenhagen? Thanks in advance.

As I know, Tivoli garden is a must see place in Copenhagen. It is a theme park located in the centre of the city. Tivoli has open-air stages and concert hall where dozens of concerts, pantomimes and circus shows, many of them free. The Little Mermaid is a beautiful statue and a Copenhagen's most famous tourist attraction. The statue was created by Edward Eriksen in 1913 who was inspired by a fairytale of Hans Christian Andersen. You should not miss this during your trip. Copenhagen has many good restaurants and The Kommandanten is a more elegant, restaurant with French cuisine. You can have free-range pork and chanterelles, spring potatoes, etc. here. Aladdin is an oriental-styled fast-food place, and at midnight, you can watch the fireworks display. Here, common international dishes, such as Baked Potatoes and Burgers are available.

hi, I made two day trips from Copenhagen to Sweden, one is from Copenhagen to Malmo and the other one is from Copenhagen to Ven. The Malmo trip offered me a pleasant break and excellent sightseeing. The easiest way to travel to Malmo is by train, so I took a train from Copenhagen Central Station and reached Malmo within 35 minutes. Actually in Copenhagen, trains are available for every 30 minutes to Malmo, so the transportation is very easy. Malmo has many exciting and interesting tourist attractions such as Casino Cosmopol, St. Peter's Church, Stortorget, Art Museum, Ebba's House and Malmo Castle. I just visited all these sites with in a day and amazed at many things. My other trip to Ven island was also a worthful day trip. The Ven island is small enough to cycle around in half a day. But for me it took a full day because I have visited art galleries. You can take a boat from Copenhagen too. I really enjoyed the places of Ven and enjoyed the food and and bike. hope you too!
