|  Kitesurfing in La Romana or Bayahibe I am planning to go there in December but can't find any info on kitesurfing, particularly in Bayahibe. Is there wind that time of the year / launch cites/kiteboarding outfits? Thank you. |

| Re: Kitesurfing in La Romana or Bayahibe Bayahibe is a small fishing village and not a very popular tourist spot in Domnican Republic, that's why you won't find much info out there. I can tell you that most people that stop in Bayahibe is to use it as base camp for hiking Parque Nacional Del Este to explore the caves and rock art. One of the best spots for kitesurfing in Dominican Republic is the town of Cabarete which has a reputation of having the most fantastic kitesurfing conditions in the world. |
