Help! Dominican Republic or Cuba

Hi,

we are thinking of holidaying next year in either Dom Republic or Cuba. We have noticed that Dom Republic is cheaper, but have been told that Cuba is friendlier. is this true?

We would want all inclusive as we are going for 2 weeks. Any recommendations ?

I can vouch for both Dom Rep and Cuba!

I've never had any problems with the Dominicans or Cubans. They're lovely people so, I don't think one place is friendlier than the other, it's just that Dom Rep is way more touristy than Cuba, though Cuba has its tourist spots such as Varadero.

I'd say that if you want a true all inclusive beach vacation with a western feel, then Dom Rep is the place for you.
