Ecuador

Ecuador, one of the world's most diverse countries in relation to its size, holds great amounts of nature and is home to the Galapagos Islands. Explore the marine life by scuba diving or bird watching on land. Tour the Amazon Rain Forest with natures wonders.

I enjoyed my experience on the "Darwin Explorer" last year. If you're into the small community type tours, you'll enjoy this one. Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable, funny and interesting. The boat and the cabins were small, and only held about 14 passengers but there was a lot of deck space. Some guests event slept on the deck at night.

As far as prices go, booking single will cost you practically double the regular price, which could get pretty expensive. Be aware that you may have a roommate in the cabins and that may be something to look out for when searching for cruises.

There are many activities to do off the ship, like hiking, scuba diving, and snorkeling. However, scuba diving must be booked in advanced and you have to be experienced. You'll love all of the wildlife offshore and the fishes in the ocean. Be sure to have your camera with you for all the photo possibilities!

I hope this helps you out!:D
