|  off to peru and ecuador Hi, I'm off to Peru and Ecuador in 11 days, doing all the usual things and was wondering if anyone has any advice about travelling between Cuzco and Guayaquil? I was thinking of flying, does anyone have any recommendations for airlines? or is it better to get a bus/coach? |

| Re: off to peru and ecuador This is what I would suggest, which I have done myself. Take the bus or airplane to the capital of Lima Peru, then grab the daily flight to Tumbes. From there take the bus to Guayaquil, though be advised that Cuzco to Lima by bus is over 15 hours. Lima to Tumbes by bus is about 15 hours, while Tumbes to Guayaquil is about 9 hours. Do bear in mind also, that there are two border crossing along the way, so you're passport will need to be stamped |
