|  flying domestically in Ecuador hi, I wanted to get your thoughts on flying domestically in Ecuador. We're planning to stay in Quito but we want to explore other towns. Would this be possible? Also, what are the main domestic airlines? thanks |

| Re: flying domestically in Ecuador Hi there, It is not difficult to fly domestically in Ecuador, as you can find flights to most provincial towns available from Quito. And the good thing it's that nearly all domestic flights within Ecuador have flying times of less than 30 minutes. However, you need to keep in mind that tourists pay twice as much for a domestic flight than locals do. The two main domestic airlines in Ecuador are TAME and SAN; although there are a number of smaller airlines. |
