Hi there,

I would recommend traveling during the summer months (May-October) as Hotels tend to become rather pricey in spring and winter. The temperatures in summer are somewhat high but it offers the ideal time to enjoy an Egypt vacation without the hassle of other tourists,etc.

Another reason to travel during summer is that you can find better package deals, flights, accommodation discounts, etc; mainly because most tourists get put off by the high temperatures.

If you are traveling during the Ramadan month be aware most restaurants tend to be closed during the day, and alcohol consumption is prohibited.

hi, egypt is very rich in history (pharonic,greek,roman,coptic and islamic) so if u r interested in history and archiology it will b fun 2 make cruise between luxor and aswan, visit z pyramids in cairo, visit alexandria .
if u want 2 relax so visit sharm el-shiekh and horgada or south sainai
z best time 2 visit egypt is winter coz summer is v.hot u will feel tired after couple of hours.
b careful of z tourist traps..... but it s still safe and wonderful
