|  traveling to Egypt hey people! Sometime in May we are looking at traveling to Egypt...Can anyone recommend or suggest other places to stay apart from the touristy Cairo? |

|  Re: traveling to Egypt hi there, If you want to avoid the the tourist attraction that is Cairo, a trip to Aswan Egypt may well be the answer. Aswan is an enjoyable alternative to Cairo and has friendly and laid-back locals where you can enjoy a nice and relaxing vacation in Egypt. While you there, you may want to check out the Nubian Museum and the Unfinished Obelisk, as well as the High Dam and the massive Abu Simbel archaeological site. |
